An approximately ten-hour itinerary explores Dilijan’s forests, two lakes and monasteries in northeastern Armenia.
Haghartsin. Visit the tenth- to thirteenth-century monastery complex surrounded by woodland.
Lake Parz. Stop at this small forest lake for a walk and time by the water.
Old Dilijan. Explore a historic street with balconies, carved details, stone houses and small shops.
Lake Sevan. Continue to the high-altitude lake and its peninsula.
Sevanavank. Visit the ninth-century monastery overlooking the water.
